An Intensive 5-day Training Course

Smart Manufacturing & Industry 4.0

Leveraging Digital Technologies for the Future of Production

Course Introduction

The manufacturing industry is undergoing a profound transformation. The rise of Industry 4.0 — driven by digital technologies, connectivity, and automation — is redefining how products are designed, produced, and delivered. Smart Manufacturing enables organisations to operate more intelligently, more efficiently, and more sustainably, creating new opportunities for innovation and growth.

In this rapidly evolving landscape, organisations that fail to adapt risk losing competitiveness. By embracing technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, robotics, and data analytics, forward-looking manufacturers can create smart factories that optimise operations, predict problems before they occur, and deliver unparalleled value to customers.

This training course provides participants with a comprehensive overview of Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0. It examines the technologies, systems, and strategies that underpin the digital transformation of production. Delegates will explore how to integrate automation, cyber-physical systems, digital twins, and predictive analytics into their operations, while also addressing challenges such as cybersecurity and workforce adaptation.

By the end of the Smart Manufacturing & Industry 4.0 training course, participants will be prepared to lead digital transformation initiatives in their organisations. They will understand how to build smart, connected production systems that increase agility, reduce costs, and ensure long-term competitiveness in a technology-driven world.

Objectives

  • Explain the principles of Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing.
  • Identify key technologies shaping the digital factory.
  • Apply digital tools to optimise production systems.
