An Intensive 5-day Training Course
Advanced Production Planning and Control
Optimising Resources, Scheduling, and
Workflow in Modern Manufacturing

Course Introduction
Effective production planning and control sits at the heart of world-class manufacturing. In an era defined by fluctuating demand, supply chain disruptions, and rising customer expectations, the ability to optimise resources and deliver on time has become a critical source of competitive advantage. Organisations that fail to plan effectively face bottlenecks, excess inventory, rising costs, and lost opportunities.
This Advanced Production Planning and Control training course provides participants with an in-depth understanding of modern production planning and control systems, methods, and strategies. It goes beyond the basics of scheduling to explore advanced forecasting, capacity planning, workflow optimisation, and the integration of digital tools such as ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
Through a practical, structured approach, delegates will learn how to balance supply and demand, synchronise operations, reduce lead times, and enhance efficiency across the production environment. They will explore best practices for resource allocation, demand forecasting, and shop-floor control, while also examining how technology can transform production systems into agile, customer-focused operations.
By the end of this Advanced Production Planning and Control training course, participants will have the skills and confidence to design, implement, and manage advanced planning systems that reduce waste, improve responsiveness, and deliver significant improvements in productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
